Mega Power Star Ram Charan sustained a minor injury while shooting an action sequence for his upcoming film Peddi in Hyderabad. The actor received four sutures for a small cut above his right eye. The makers confirmed it was not an eye injury and clarified that rumours of a serious mishap are false.
Ram Charan was given immediate medical care and resumed shooting the same day. The Peddi team assured fans that he is doing well with no impact on the film’s schedule, which is set for April 30, 2026 release.
Directed by Buchi Babu Sana and produced by Vriddhi Cinemas, Peddi is a high-octane sports-action drama co-starring Janhvi Kapoor. The film has been generating huge buzz, especially after the recent release of its energetic first single “Rai Rai Raa Raa” composed by AR Rahman.
Fans have flooded social media with messages of support and praise for Ram Charan’s dedication. His uncle and Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan also wished him a speedy recovery on X, calling him a true fighter both on and off screen.
