Rishab Shetty, the multi-talented force behind the movie as its writer, director, and lead actor, dropped the bombshell on social media this Wednesday, revealing that the English version will hit theaters everywhere on October 31.

“The poster highlights a key detail—the film’s original 2-hour-48-minute runtime has been trimmed to a crisp 2 hours and 14 minutes for this dubbed cut, possibly to appeal to international audiences.According to the team’s official statement, this move positions Kantara Chapter 1 as a trailblazer: the first Indian production to launch an English-dubbed version in theaters so swiftly after its initial rollout.
